Water-damage drywall repair: before, during and finished.
After the leak source was repaired and the framing was dry, we rebuilt the damaged lower wall and completed the finish from drywall through paint and trim.
The problem
Damage along the bottom of the wall needed more than a patch.
The lower drywall had been affected by a leak. Drywall work should begin only after the moisture source is repaired and the affected framing is dry. Once those conditions were met, the damaged material could be removed and rebuilt correctly.
